Join us for our Summer Drama Camp where kids put on the whole show!
We welcome campers to our one-week theatre camp. From the stage to the tech booth, drama camp includes daily devotional and connection times, staging, character development, costume creation, and set building. Drama camp is led by a collaborative team of camper alumni, pastoral staff, parents, and certified instructors.
Life's a circus as we present The Prodigal Clown, a musical theatre production!
Step right up and meet the Parabalini Family Circus … Antonio, AJ, Giorgio, and the circus artists! Despite the nonstop fun and hilarity of clowns, knife-throwers, lion-tamers, and human cannonballs, there’s a serious and heartwarming story to be told about the parent whose love for their child is unconditional.
AGES: Campers entering Grade 4 to entering Grade 9 in fall 2025
DATES: Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 AND Sunday, July 27
TIMES:
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 3:30pm
Friday, 9am to 7:30pm (includes evening performance for camper families)
Sunday, 9am to Noon (includes Community Performance for friends, neighbors, extended families etc.)
PERFORMANCES:
Friday, July 25 @ 5:30pm for camper families
Sunday, July 27 @ 10am for everyone, during morning church service
WHERE: Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, 2630 Alhambra Drive
COST: $80
- Campers must be available for all camp days and both performances on Friday evening and Sunday morning.
- All campers participate in creating sets, props, and costumes as well as building performance skills.
